I. Overview
Explosion-proof analysis cabins are used for continuous, automatic on-site measurement, analysis, and control of material components and content in production processes. Explosion-proof analysis cabins are a new technology that became popular internationally in the mid-1980s. It integrates the combination, assembly, and application of industrial online instruments, and was first widely used in oil refining and chemical enterprises.
The standardized and professional design of the on-site analysis room makes the on-site installation and maintenance of analyzers more convenient and provides a good operating and running environment for the instruments. It ensures the required operating environment and the accuracy of the analysis data, while also improving the service life of the analyzers, and has been increasingly used in process equipment.
Technical Description
The explosion-proof analysis cabin adopts an all-steel frame structure, with the analyzers and control units assembled inside the cabin, and the sample pretreatment and carrier gas, standard gas, and drive gas installed outside the cabin. The sampling probe and the primary pressure reduction station are installed near the process pipeline. The cabin is equipped with explosion-proof air conditioning, explosion-proof electric heaters or steam heating equipment (optional), which can adjust the indoor temperature. The power distribution system is a pipeline system, equipped with explosion-proof distribution boxes, explosion-proof junction boxes, etc.
The lighting system uses explosion-proof fluorescent lamps and explosion-proof emergency fluorescent lamps. The cabin is also equipped with ventilation, air exchange, and filtration devices, which can be timed for ventilation and air exchange to keep the indoor air fresh. The cabin is also equipped with an alarm interlocking panel (including gas sensors and controllers) and audible and visual alarm lights. When flammable/toxic gas leaks, the audible and visual alarm lights will sound an alarm to protect personal safety. The explosion-proof type of the analysis cabin is divided into two types: flameproof (natural ventilation) and positive pressure type (positive pressure ventilation).
It is used in the production of oil refining, chemical, metallurgical, pharmaceutical, and light industries to provide a safe on-site installation space and protection for various process gas online analyzers and various online water quality analyzers.

IV. Safety Measures
1. A small, continuous flow of gas is introduced into the cabin, along with intermittent gas injections, to ensure fresh and safe air within the cabin.
2. A combustible gas detector is installed inside the cabin. If combustible gas is detected, the detector will activate, the alarm light will illuminate, the explosion-proof bell will sound, and the explosion-proof solenoid valve and explosion-proof exhaust fan will automatically power on. At this time, a large amount of fresh air will be introduced into the cabin, expelling air containing explosive gases to ensure cabin safety.
